Mom passed away on July 16, about 5.30 in the morning. Dad was sleeping in the room with her.
She died peacefully; her son Dan had just been in a little while earlier to check on her, and she appeared to be sleeping peacefully, shallow breathing and all.
Mom battled stage 3 (when diagnosed) pancreatic cancer for ten months before taking God’s hand. She fought hard, never forgetting her faith, never surrendering her dignity.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ora, and siblings Herman, Luetta, and Edward, and is survived by her sister Inez, her brother Robert, her loving husband of 50 years Ronald, her children David, Daniel, Timothy, and Thomas, and their wives Hazel, Rebecca, Brenda, and Michelle.
Her grandchildren, William, Anthony, Matthew, Megan, Nicole, Cameron, and Avery, and her great-grandchild Rose Marie also survive her. They will miss her.
Obituaries usually have occupations listed, but Mom had so many, I couldn’t begin to list them. Number one on her list was Mom.
